The Pearl Harts Release Video For ‘The Rush’

I’d appreciate it very much if you could allow me the next few hundred words or so to get very excited about a stupidly good rock band.

Thank you.

The rock band in question are The Pearl Harts and to be blunt about it, they’re really fucking good. Like; seriously fucking good.

The duo of Kirsty (Lead vocals, guitar) and Sara (Drums, vocals) have just released a new video for their track The Rush which is taken from their debut album Glitter and Spit which came out last month. I will now proceed to hijack this news to tell you how great this track is.

The Rush is a swaggering behemoth of hard rock virtuosity that reminds you of why you listen to this sweaty mass of attitude and noise that we call rock music. You can’t not get swept up in this track, I mean I didn’t put up much of a fight, but it took me on a 3-and-a-half-minute journey I never wanted to end. Rock music was built on defiance and arrogance and that attitude just pours from this song in spades. The drums hit you in your chest while the vocal and guitar riffs make you feel like you can take on the world. This is Zeppelin blues, mixed with Sabbath heavy, fronted by the lovechild of Joan Jett and Lzzy Hale.

The band are currently midway through a headline UK tour, before they head back on the road next month supporting Louise Distras.

I don’t care what you do with the rest of your day just make sure that it includes listening to this track. Remember the name because this won’t be the last that you hear from The Pearl Harts.
