Single Review: Bertie Scott – The Way You Loved Me

I’d like to take a moment on this very beautiful looking Tuesday afternoon to introduce you to an artist who goes by the name of Bertie Scott.

Currently residing in Southend-On-Sea Scott has spent a few years perfecting his craft in numerous bands before launching his own solo career.

What I have for you now is his debut single The Way You Loved Me. The track is a real big, emotive, atmospheric ballad but even in that very crowded sphere this song still easily stands out. The vocal from Scott really is first class and the production on the instrumental which carries that vocal is flawless. The whole song is so unbelievably crisp and sharp; you could cut yourself on it. The chorus is a typically grandstand affair and will sound fantastic gliding from your radio.

What I’m trying to say is that this gentleman from Essex has absolutely knocked it out of the park straight from the off. The track is brilliant, there’s no two ways about it but the really exciting thing is that this is only the beginning. Keep an eye out for this man; you’re going to be hearing a hell of a lot more from him I promise you.
