I suppose as a band if you’re going to kick off your new year in style I’d say dropping a brilliant new single and announcing European tour dates with Simple Plan would just about do it. It seems that The Bottom Line are a band that don’t exactly do things by half.
I’ll get into that mega tour news in a minute but personally I think that the music is always the most important thing so I’ll give you the run-down of that new single first.
Insecure is awesome. Right, now I’ll move on… I joke, I joke. In all seriousness it’s a fantastic slice of pop punk. Think that old school New Found Glory/early 2000’s ‘Golden Era’ sound but with a 2016 slant. It’s got all of the things which made that early 2000’s era so good but at the same time it doesn’t sound dated in the slightest. Oh and that hook is a cracker. As a single I predict nothing but success for this tune. (That’s hardly the boldest call I’ve ever made I’ll be honest)
However, the band are apparently not content with just releasing a great tune and new video and have hooked themselves up on a little jaunt around Europe with Simple Plan. The trio are understandably buzzing:
“We’re SO happy to be back releasing new music again, It’s been far too long but it’s great to see people are excited and getting behind us more than ever. And what a better way of promoting this new song than touring the whole of Europe and the UK with the gods that are Simple Plan! We’ve done a lot of touring overseas in the past. But to be able to do it while supporting Pop Punk royalty is seriously an honour we’ll never forget.”
The band will be joining Simple Plan on their European tour through the back end of February and throughout March.
