I first came across Nothing More when they supported Halestorm back in March in Wolverhampton and to cut a long and boring story show, they made a fan of me that night, right there on the spot.
The Texan quartet are back with a new video for their track Here’s To The Heartache which is taken from their debut album which is out now. The track is deep, introspective and like all the best music, massively relatable. I’ll let frontman Jonny Hawkins put some meat on the bones.
“As I look back on my life, I realize that every time I thought I was being rejected from something good, I was actually being re-directed to something better. This quote sums up the heart of this song. We’ve seen failed relationships lead to soul mates. Crippling weakness, uncover hidden strength, and epic loss pave the way for greatness. For us, ‘believing it would work out’ led to things working out. Was it ever easy? No. Was it always worth it? Yes. So, here’s to the heartache…”
I really like this track and I have been a fully-fledged ‘fan-girl’ for the band since March so they can’t really do much wrong in my eyes right now.
