Evyltyde Announce Autumn Tour, New Album And New Line – Up

It seems that Evyltyde have been rather busy, to the point where they are no longer content with just making a single announcement like your average metal band, they are making three at once. Here’s the lowdown.

  • The band are going on tour to celebrate their 2nd The tour will be the bands most extensive run of shows to date. (You can see the list of dates in full below) The tour is also where the band will be road testing some new material, which brings me nicely to announcement number two.
  • Slated for a summer 2016 release the band have already begun work on their 2nd album titled The record will contain ten new tracks with a bonus track thrown in on the CD release for good measure. So what can we expect?

“We’re working hard on the new stuff now,” explains Danny Merton (Guitar), “and hope to have it released in the summer next year [2016].”

“Yeah, I’ve already recorded some drum tracks for the demos”, continues Isaac Marques  (Drums), “I think we have a good mix of songs – some people might be a bit surprised, some of it is pretty heavy!”

One thing many people commented on was the variety in the first album,” adds Hannah Delany (Vocals), “and I think we’re definitely continuing along those lines.”

  • And just when you thought they were done with announcements it seems that the band have gone and landed themselves a bass player in the form of Russ ‘The Bear’ Wark. (Ex 5th Man Down) The band are delighted to have him on board and it seems that the feeling’s mutual.

“I’ve been churning out the low end for over 20 years and in all that time, I’ve never been more excited with what lies ahead on my musical journey”, explains Wark “Big things are afoot for the Evyltyde gang and I’m looking forward to meeting all our current fans and maybe even a few new ones out there on the road. I’m also very much looking forward to 2016, the upcoming second album, and the possibility of a few surprises along the way.”
