When I started this website one of the main aims was to try and bring people the best new music around. I pride myself on the fact that when bands start to pick up momentum and people at radio stations and the likes of Kerrang! Magazine start taking notice you’ll be able to sit back and know that you read about them here first. So with all of that in mind it gives me great pleasure to introduce to you a band who only played their debut gig at Camden Rocks just over a week ago; City Of Thieves.
Based in London the band was born out of the remains of Four Wheel Drive and on this evidence my God do they know how to make rock music. Produced by Toby Jepson, (Toseland, The Answer) mixed by Mike Fraser, (AC/DC, Slipknot, Metallica) and mastered by Simon Wilson (Kodaline, Kaiser Chiefs, Primal Scream) Incinerator is a hard rock track designed purely and simply to tear your damn face off. This track is a monster plain and simple.
Built around a grimy mix of dirty, hard as hell riffs and a huge killer chorus Incinerator is pretty much everything that I want in a hard rock track. The vocal has got a fantastic gritty edge to it and the guitar solo is a thing of beauty.
There is talk of a debut EP and there are a load more live shows in the pipeline and right now I can’t wait.
Incinerator is a swaggering, badass, riff heavy beast of a track which you can (And really should) check out below.
