Fresh off the back of winning two Grammy’s the other night Mr Lamar has finally dropped some new material. The last new song we heard from the Compton native was I way back last September. While that track saw Lamar setting his sights on the mainstream Blacker The Berry sees him return to more familiar territory. We are talking full on pro-black, 1993 era Tupac taking aim at racial inequality. The track’s appearance also coincides with the start of Black History Month.
While I was a decent track I think that this is a real return to form and a step back into the zone where I think Kendrick does his best work.
What do you guys think?
