Message To Venus, has successfully completed a two month Indiegogo campaign to help fund the release and promotion of its debut album, Victims & Villains. The campaign, which spanned July and August, helped generate over $11,000 through fan support. While Victims & Villains will officially release in early 2015, fans who contributed to the crowd-funding campaign receive an advance copy of the new album along with other special ‘perks,’ including a limited-edition Message To Venus comic book and more.
“We’re blown away by all the support we received through our Indiegogo campaign,” said guitarist John Feliciano. “Fans really embraced the new album and comic book projects. We can’t thank everyone that contributed enough!”
During the course of the Indiegogo campaign, Message To Venus launched a brand new Victims & Villains track, “Hollow,” which is now available on iTunes at:
“Hollow” is also streaming on Soundcloud at: https://soundcloud.com/messagetovenus/hollow/s-Y5YIu.
“‘Hollow’ is a track about living the life you want,” vocalist/guitarist, Jandre Nadal, recently told Revolver. “Making your own choices as a person, not following a shadow of what someone wants for you. This song has a powerful chorus. A lot of people can relate to this subject.”
Victims & Villains was recorded in the band’s native San Juan, Puerto Rico with producer, Leo Alvarez.
